I am not just a photographer
I used to think it was important to heavily identify with your work in order to be taken seriously. After my first year shooting just part-time I felt constantly drained by always having to be "the photographer." I started to think of myself just as a girl who loves people by taking pictures, and that mindset freed me from the anxiety I had felt to always BE my job.

Now I prioritize YOU over your photos. I want to build a relationship with you first before I even have my camera in hand! When you hire me you do get a photographer, eager to capture your story, but you also get a new friend and constant supporter!

You and EVERYBODY else on the planet! Trust me, feeling natural in front of the camera is not common and you are not an outlier for feeling that way! Good thing "posing" is never on my mind anyway! I always try to prompt you so that you two get to act naturally with one another and HAVE FUN! Whether that's running into each other's arms, making each other laugh, or dancing in the rain, my goal is to help capture your unique love and personalities. Who wants pictures that look like everyone else's anyway???
